Another Birthday Come and Gone

I am 24 again, woo hoo! For how many times, I don’t know, lol.

Here are some random thoughts about my birthday:

  • It’s just a number
  • I’m only as old as you think I think I am
  • Denial is a wonderful thing
  • Use it or loose it
  • Appreciate what you have
  • Enjoy your family
  • Don’t stress
  • Don’t sweat the small stuff
  • Eat better
  • Exercise
  • Less is more
  • Stop and smell the roses

Here’s a picture of me today at Casa Ramos. I had lunch with my brother and nephew. Of course my brother had to tell our host that it was my birthday. Doh! The restaurant give me this souvenir gift card with picture.

I may post more pictures this weekend, depending on what activities are planned in-between my work schedule. So check back on Sunday or Monday.

    Rolando!! Happy Birthday my friend … I love your list here. All very true. You know, I would like to be younger in some respects, but the history of my life, and the mistakes I have made are what make me “me”. I think that I am a better person that I once was (try to be anyway) and am comfortable with my age. I am 24 as well …… (ha haa!)

    Hey Eric, I know what you mean, I wouldn’t want to go back. If I did, I would like to take back the knowledge and experience I have now. Although it may not be much, it would have made a difference. But, that’s another story for another post, lol.

    Unfortunately, I did not get the weekend off. I did have to work today and I just now got off. Now, the party begins!

    Hi ZZ, It was good day, but I realize I kind of treat myself everyday. I’m very fortunate in that regard. I like your quote. I can’t stop playing. How to be a child again? It’s challenging to look at the world with the eyes of a child.

    My birthday is a reminder of days gone, but also a wake up call for my days ahead. I have to look at my mental list of things I need and want to do in this life. My corner of the universe is getting smaller, but I’m glad to have friends like you to make it bigger than it is.
