Fall Tease

Fall Tease

I’m not sure how the weather has been where you live, but we have been living with 90-100 degree temps for weeks now. If you can believe it, it was the coldest day today. It was about 78 degrees with a very nice breeze.

I know it won’t last long, but it made a difference for me today. I reminisced of my younger days living in the Bay Area. I loved living by the ocean. The sea breeze and salty air. The layers of clothes and all the comfort food that mom used to make.

Those were the days. Today’s weather reminded me of those days. But I know it won’t be long until we will be back in the 90’s. It’s only a couple more weeks until Fall and I can’t wait.

Retailers have already started putting out their Fall lines in preparation for the change of weather. Today was just a tease.

Fall tease…what a perfect title or this time of year. I’m on the opposite end of the Us…but all in all the colors of fall are starting to show themselves. And the air has that special smell that always lets me know of autumns forthcoming arrival….yet there are days where it’s still hot as hell…go figure! Good to see you back around Rolando!

Hey Morgan, for now the weather is just playing games with us. I’m ready for Fall full time. When that is, I don’t know. I love Fall, it’s my favorite time of the year. I’m a hopeless romantic what can I say.

It’s felt like autumn around here a couple times too. It was cooler for a couple days, but what really does it is the dryness. It’s been so hot and dry that the trees are already losing their leaves. Sometimes it feels like fall just because you’re walking over dead leaves all the time. Not too colorful though. They go from green to yellow to brown.

Hey Shiera, it must be really beautiful in Japan. I remember some of the cherry blossom pictures you took, they were awesome!

Hi Dan,

We don’t have much of a Fall here either. Like where you are it jumps from Summer to Winter, with only a hint of Fall. But it’s ok by me. I still like the cooler weather and look forward to the change.

Fall is such a romantic season isn’t Meleah. At least I always envision it that way.

Hi Kate,

It’s good to see you again. I’m am ready for Fall. I’ve actually been ready since August, lol. When the weather start getting cooler, then I’ll probably be indoors more and probably blogging more.

@Debo Hobo: it should be around 80 around here today, but with some clouds. It’s about time Fall started coming around. I need to get out, but stuck to my computer because of work, lol
