Hi Renee, I’m glad it worked out for you and the many people that I polled. It was such a relieve. The reality hasn’t hit me yet. I’m still thinking that I have to take off my contacts at night, but of course there’s nothing there.

I just had LASIK done also, and I did a lot of research before I went. I found my2020.com and the LASIK-1 centers. They were really nice, not expensive, and had lots of difference ways to save me money. Everything went really well.

Yeah my worse nightmare was me sneezing right in the middle of the procedure. But luckily the machine adjust for those type of moments. You should be ok cause it only takes 20-30 seconds as far as the laser work is concerned.

I was concerned about all the risks, but after polling a dozen or more friends, it seemed to be ok. There were no bad procedures and they were happy with the results (knock on wood).

I don’t think I’d want to go with discount eye surgery either. Or any type of discount surgery for that matter. Some things you just don’t want to risk going badly!

Hi ZZ, yes I am very excited about it! I’m just kicking myself for not getting it done earlier. I believe we are about the same age, 24 right? I guess the more active I have been lately, the more I’ve notice how limiting glasses can be.

I normally don’t take risks with my body, so I was very nervous. I was queasy for the last week before the surgery.

All is good and now I just have to adjust. I did pick up some new sunglass in celebration of my new vision. Woohoo! Then I’ll update my avatars, lol.

Very cool!! I’m sure you are very excited about this!
My eyesight the past 3 years has taken a significant decline. Age related I’m sure. Damn!
I still need to get them checked out first, and have been hobbling along with cheap $5 reading glasses that I got that the local drug store.

I have to tell you though, I know the process for this Lasik, and I get all queasy just thinking about it! UGH….Dizzy too! blech!

Anyway, you are now going to have to update all your avatars, with you sportin’ the hot new look..without your specs!

Hi Rozella, thanks for passing by. Turkey is a great place to visit. It’s better if you know someone or if you’re on a guided tour because there are so many things to see and do.
